Marty and I groomed this on Monday 01/07/19 and Tue AM. We even pushed up a burm to keep cars from driving on it but when we came out in the early AM one a ran through the burm. He was off the side of the road right past so will probably require a tow truck to get it back on the road so did not put the burm back in. It groomed up really nice and hard. lots of powder up high. We groomed to the gate on Burndt Timber Road and upper end of Henderson Lake. Got all cattle guards filled in. Lots of animal tracks in the groomed trail on our way back down.
Other Information
Gate at the gravel pit is closed. Should be able to ride from bottom where we normally ride from. Snow is good from there.

Open

Trail Report
Groomed this on New Years Day Evening and got home at about 4 AM the next morning. There was about 12 inches at the parking lot and went up to 18 inches really quickly. At the upper gate where I turned around on the main road there was a good 4 feet or more. I was pushing powder off the front windshield. It groomed up really good. I groomed out to Baldy as well. I found out after grooming that there is a logging operation running in there and they will be plowing the road I groomed. The FS suggest we ride in from the First Notch Trailhead. 3 to 4 feet of bottomless powder here.

There was an inch of new snow on what we groomed this morning so it groomed up good. Most rocks are covered. I was not able to fill in the cattle guards so groomed the gate side too.
