Black Mtn.-Freeman-Wilderness Ranch
Groomed trails lie within the West end of Routt National Forest. NOWECOS has 107 miles of trails that are groomed on a weekly schedule and 7 additional miles that are groomed on an as needed basis for easier access to back areas of the system. Average altitude is approximately 8700 feet.

Trail Report
We have have 3 miles of mud up to the snow. We have suspended grooming. Good snow on top the mountains, but tough getting to an unloading spot.
Other Information
Snow up high is good. Intensive off trail riding is excellent, This last snow is pretty WET. The sun has ruined our trailheads.
