Black Mtn.-Freeman-Wilderness Ranch
Groomed trails lie within the West end of Routt National Forest. NOWECOS has 107 miles of trails that are groomed on a weekly schedule and 7 additional miles that are groomed on an as needed basis for easier access to back areas of the system. Average altitude is approximately 8700 feet.

Trail Report
Lower elevation snow is gone. Upper elevation snow is hard packed. A,B and C trails are partially groomed. The parking lots are unusable. Snow level is about 4 -5 miles above the parking lots.
