We will have a snowmobile ride this Saturday, February 17, leaving at 10 a.m. to LOVE LAKE. Please meet at the Middle Creek Road trail head and be ready to ride at 10 a.m. Tim McAlester will be your ride leader. The trail has not been groomed but snow is sufficient for a nice ride without any difficulty. Bring avalanche safety equipment, water, and lunch. 

Directions to the Love Lake trail head: The trail head/parking area is 6 miles up Forest Service Road 523 (Middle Creek Road) from Highway 149. Middle Creek Road is 7 miles southwest of Creede. From Lake City, turn right onto Middle Creek Road just after crossing the Rio Grande River bridge. From Creede, turn left onto Middle Creek Road before crossing the Rio Grande River bridge. On Middle Creek Road at the "Y", veer  right to Love Lake. The road ends at the parking area/trail head.
